Scott W. Yates, MD, MBA, MS, FACP

Scott W. Yates, MD, MBA, MS, FACP

Dr. Yates manages the Center for Executive Medicine. His passion for patient care is longstanding; his first experiences in medicine were working in the office of his Pediatrician while in high school. Twenty-five years later, he now teaches medical students and residents who rotate through his office. Recently elected President of the Texas Academy of Internal Medicine, Dr. Yates is looked to by his peers as an expert in adult healthcare.

He is a member of the medical staff of Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Baylor Plano Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospitals of Dallas. He has held appointments and leadership positions at various hospitals including Chief of Staff, Chief of Medicine, and membership or chairmanship of Medical Executive, Credentials, Utilization Management, Performance Improvement, Pharmacy & Therapeutics, and Internal Medicine Peer Review Committees. He serves as a quality and utilization review physician for the Texas Medical Foundation, the State of Texas’ designated Quality Improvement Organization.

Dr. Yates completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin and Medical Degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Health Services Administration. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives. The Association of Clinical Research Professionals has recognized Dr. Yates with its Certified Physician Investigator designation.

Dr. Yates’ research interests include wellness and prevention, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia and the Cardiovascular Dysmetabolic Syndrome as they relate to the clinical practice of Internal Medicine. His research interests also extend to office automation and electronic health records and the effect of these technologies on quality of care and error rates. He has published articles in diverse journals and lectures internationally on these subjects. Dr. Yates is a member of the Editorial Boards of Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Southern Medical Journals.

Dr. Yates is married and enjoys leisure reading and travel with his wife, daughter and twin boys.

Michael M. Bond, DO, FAAFP

Michael M. Bond, DO, FAAFP

Dr. Bond moved to Plano, Texas in September 2004 to join the Center for Executive Medicine following his honorable discharge as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. Dr. Bond served as a Naval Medical Officer for seven years. During his last two years of naval service, he was appointed and served as the Medical Director for Executive Health Care at the National Naval Medical Center - “The President’s Hospital” in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Bond served as the personal and family physician to many high profile leaders in military and government service. His patients have included surgeon generals of the uniformed services, members of the Joint Chiefs, and other domestic and foreign dignitaries. Additionally, he provided medical care for soldiers, sailors, and airmen wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences from 2000 to 2004.

Dr. Bond attended Midwestern University - Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois graduating in 1997. He completed his internship and residency training in Family Medicine at the Jacksonville Naval Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. During his last year of residency, he was elected and served as Chief Resident in Family Medicine.

Dr. Bond cares for patients of all ages and is a Family Medicine specialist who is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians. In 2006, he was designated a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He resides with his wife, two sons and daughter in Plano, Texas. He enjoys running, cooking and water sports.

M. Keith Schrader, MD

Internal Medicine, Center for Executive Medicine

Dr. Schrader practices comprehensive adult medicine for the Center for Executive Medicine. He is an internal medicine physician who treats a broad range of adult health issues and emphasizes proactive and preventive care.   His interests include all aspects of adult health maintenance and management of complex chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.  Dr. Schrader will tell you that his interest in medicine, and focus on heart disease, arose when he was growing up, watching multiple family members battle coronary disease and congestive heart failure.

Originally from Fort Worth, Dr. Schrader completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University in College Station.  He received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Schrader is a member of our management team and manages patient care quality and physician performance for the group. He is a member of the medical staff of Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Baylor Plano Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospitals of Dallas. He serves on multiple hospital and medical professional organization committees focusing on patient care quality and safety.  He has recently served as Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine.  Dr. Schrader also mentors medical and nursing students in our outpatient practice.

Dr. Schrader, his wife and son live in Allen, Texas.  In his leisure time, Dr. Schrader enjoys travel, snow skiing, running and tennis.
