My wife and I have had the privilege of knowing the Yates family for more than two decades. I work in the business of healthcare and I have worked with hundreds of physicians in the course of my career. I quickly came to realize that a degree or credentials represent a standard, but the doctors I trust are those who genuinely care about me and my family.
Dr. Yates’ office has always been exceptionally easy to work with. They email me when I’m due to come in and a quick reply to that email is all it takes to get scheduled at a time of my convenience. I’ve always appreciated their “above and beyond” approach.
A great example of this was Dr. Yates’ help in managing a complex foot fracture. He’s not a surgeon of course, but he was always available to discuss options. He helped me find the best surgeon, and went with me to the appointment to make sure that no details were missed. He spent lots of time with me researching whether there might be any new methods of managing the fracture in the latest clinical literature, or anything else that would warrant visiting a surgeon outside of Texas.
Throughout this time I’ve always appreciated not only his skill as a clinician, but also his genuine warmth and humanity. He has been a friend and mentor to our son who is interested in medicine as well.
I know many physicians. I know we can trust Dr. Yates.
